Different from other DVD recorders, the LVW-5005 is a versatile DVD recorder. Not only DVD formats, LVW-5005 allows you to choose a recordable CD disc (CD-R/RW) to record favorites audio in the audio CD format (Audio CD), and also can record the video from TV program in VCD or SVCD format (VCD/SVCD). This feature is not only to save the space of DVD disc but also to save you a great deal of money you would spend on DVDs.
In addition, the built in DV Link provides pure digital input from DV camcorder for high quality recording onto DVD discs.. Four recording modes are available to optimize the recording. You can choose HQ mode for the best video recording quality, or SLP mode for up to 6 hours of recording time.
